Hello all ,I am new to thai visa and will have many questions as I am planning to move to thailand soon, to the tak province, but right now I am looking to buy a track excavator/backhoe for a small business there in tak, can anyone steer me in the right direction, price must be around 800,000. baht.and in good condition, any help will be appreciated

No problem with the budget , I bought a 6610 Ford tractor for 780K earlier this year.

DON'T buy a Kubota though.

Are you familiar with excavators in that you know how to judge the condition? If not would you like some pointers? Some things such as a worn turntable can cost 1/2 the price of the excavator to repair.

Some of the "free-lance" repair people by sometimes seals from us.

I have seen cracked cast iron gear box (not sure for what) welded together. Everyone knows it will crack again and everything is not aligned anymore. But good enough to sell it........

Saw 1 at a pattaya auction a little while ago. Do a google search. They have online catalogues, some quite interesting things in those.
