el jefe
thanks for the heads up, VF. I did the inaugural Singha MTB race last year. It was one of the best organized events I've ever done and certainly the best value race I've ever been involved with. I doubt I'll be able to change my travel plans to make it to this road race, but I highly recommend it to anyone who can get to Chiang Rai.

rebo
from http://bicyclethailand.com/events/: The organizing committee of “The Singha Tour of Chiang Rai”, Peter Pouly and Active Management Asia have decided to postpone the event to a more suitable date in 2014. This has been a difficult decision but it has been done in order to provide an even better quality event next year. The new date will be announced very soon. We would like to apologize for any inconvenience.

ianf
I understand there is quite a high entry fee for this race, compared to the lower cost of the Masters Tour of Chiang Mai. It will not have been UCI categorised or probably not approved by the Thai Cycling Association. That's not such a problem in Thailand.
