Pheu Thai MP thanks MPs for passing amnesty bill

By English News

The highly-protested bill was passed by the Lower House by 300 against 124 votes

300 brown envelopes duly passed out whistling.gif alt=whistling.gif>

You forgot the following statement quote "35-member committee was set up to scrutinise the bill within seven days"; so that is 245 man days or one whole year to scrutinise. No tokens of appreciation for those busy fellas shock1.gif

what a crock of crap

"thanks to the Thai people" "national reconciliarion"

Tell that to the boy guard who got hit by shrapnell today

IMO he is in for a huge pay day if this bill passes and Thaksin comes home

and that is all he is thinking about

they are a disgrace, but as other members on here, repeatedly remind us were only visitors here.so let them ruin there own country....were lucky in that we can leave, most thais cant,coffee1.gif

That's not much consolation for those of us who have families here although I suppose we could leave if needed.

Check out the...uh...um...distinguished gentleman over his right shoulder.

Distinguished is he? I wondered why he stood out from the crowd.

It's the government and policies the Thais want, remember?

Thais don't know any different - Mai Ben drai, up-to-them, ie who cares. The Thais don't

So the passing of this bill will lead to reconciliation , I am Rip Van NKK and have just wakened up so what have I been missing ?

You have been asleep for just 20 years.. Haven't missed much.. biggrin.png

SSDD

Thank God for that. There could have been a coup, civil insurrection and fugitives all over the place. Ah well back to sleep then, don't waken me up until something worthwhile happens
Wake up NKK! There's dancing in the streets. You'll wanna see this!

I guest the Thais don't remember General Suchinda and the massacre of the protesters of 1992. He was granter Amnesty Or Pardon. {same thing}... He was a Power crazed Fowl and got away with murder..... And now More criminals will be granted Amnesty for there crimes... This is not civilized.... and nether is this government. Thailand Needs a true Democratic and Honest Government / Prime Minister to govern and fix this Beautiful country before it is to late....

"Smiling eyes with tears in Dubai." This is a song I am currently composing. Release date not yet determined!

The Donays beat you to it, that is if you are indeed writing a song about a certain fugitive crim in Dubai.

It's called "He's got the Devil in his Heart"...................

Better the movie with Steve Mcqueen-The Great Escape

He is thinking more like MC Hammer's (Can't touch this).
