Tot Phone Bill Problem Will Pay Asap

Featured Replies

Hello

I have been out of Pattaya for the last 4 months and my phone bill and DSL bill are 3 months overdue; I forgot to setup the automatic bill payment before I left.

It took a long time to finally get the phone set up and I would really hate to have them cut the line before I come back next month.

If anybody is willing to go down to the TOT office in Pattaya for me and pay the bill I would like to pay them 2000 Baht for their time.

I can pay the person in Paypal or Epassporte, which ever is more convenienct.

I was hoping for somebody with more than 1 post just to make sure somebody doesn't sign up just to score a quick buck :o

If you can do this please PM me or email at [email protected]

Not in Pattaya right now, but good luck with that.

I can tell you TOT will accept a deposit for future bills and just keep a credit (for the future).

As far as setting up auto bill pay from a bank account, I tried that last year, filed all the paperwork with TOT and the Thai bank, and then was told it would take four months to process, and that I would just have to keep paying the bill directly.

Now well over a year and the auto deduct never took effect. TOT. TIT.

It can be any TOT or True counter service in Thailand.

Save yourself the 2000 baht and log on to the Tot website. There you can register and then pay the bill electronic every month yourself. No need to wait at all. I pay my bill every month that way and have had no problems with it at all.

Good Luck

Do you have a copy of the bill ? I usually pay mine at the local 7-11 (it's an extra service charge, but saves the hassle of getting to the ToT office).

You can't pay a LATE TOT bill at the 7 11.

You can't pay a LATE TOT bill at the 7 11.

Are you sure ?

My first bill arrived in the mail on 20 February. I had to laugh, because it said it was printed on 12 February, and was payable on 7 February ! :D

So, technically, the bill was payable 5 days before it was even printed, and 13 days before it was delivered !

Despite that, I took it to the 7-11 and they processed it without comment. My next bill noted the payment and no interest or late fees. Maybe they noticed they had made a mistake (yeah, right) :o

(The next bill also arrived earlier and noted the payable date being early the next month as you would normally expect).

Either way, can you pay someone else's phone bill at ToT, especially if you don't have a copy of the bill ? I'm sure they don't care who gives them the money. Could they (would they) print an updated bill at the office ?

I've had the same experience paying apparently overdue TOT bills at 7 -11. Accepted with no problem. Maybe there's a different due date in the bar code? Normally, you cannot pay overdue

bills at 7-11.

I was also wondering how you pay the bill without at least a copy thereof. Maybe the OP can scan and email a copy to whoever volunteers to pay.

Has anyone tried to pay there bill on the TOT website of late Whenever i get to the creditcard page and put my details in it just hangs there and wont connect. Anyone else had the same problem, have tried with 3 different credit cards. Interested in the idea of overpaying so you have credit can you do that? Can you also do it with CAT for overseas bills, love to know it would be a big help to me

Cheers

My bill did not come in the post this month so it was late so i just went to the tot building in pattaya and told them my phone number and they look it up on the computer and tell you the name the bill is in and you say yes and they tell you how much to pay. Then they print out a green reciept for you.

When I was in Bangkok, I had two TOT lines which I paid by direct debit through my Amex card. I just filled in a form, sent if off and the monthly bill was charged to Amex, and I received a receipt and a copy of the accounts through the mail. The phone bills weren't even in my name but they still accepted the paperwork. I found it very convenient, because TOT are notorious for sending late bills and cutting customers off.

When I moved to Pattaya, I just advised Amex to cancel the direct debit arrangement. I would set up a similar arrangement here except I am now with TT & T and not sure if they do the same thing. Anyone know?
