Well yes Thailand but have limited access to Australia for work now.

If your offence was drug related, you may be on the blacklist without any conviction in Thailand or elsewhere but just through another country tipping them off. I know Japan used to do that and Thailand are also very strict on drugs.

If you are on the blacklist it will take many many years of legal work to even entertain the thought of getting it removed. One of the clients of a company where i worked had lawyers still working on his blacklisting after 6 years without success.

Due to lack of information and you appear not to know yourself, it could be a crime that you may, or not, be aware of and entirely unrelated to some real estate misdemeanour.

All these story about blacklist are just rubbish!

A couple of years ago did talk with a lawyer -a close friend was in serious need- we did talk about blacklist, deportation, bla bla bla bla.

Did i forget to say bla bla? and the outcome was, it's only myths spread by some foreign lunatics...

The number of 30 000 its just BS thrown by some weird journalist.

oh why i bother???

ps did i forget to say bla bla?coffee1.gif

wool you need to carefully read through all of this thread again....ALL...!

Taking a broader view of "crime and punishment", with technology advancements more and more personal information is being shared with both public and private entities. And more detailed information that years ago was not considered relevant or important, now has become "important".

In the US once upon a time, only convictions were on one's public record. For example, convictions of either a misdemeanor or a felony could be used as a reason to disqualify an applicant for a job. Merely being arrested was not a consideration and job applicants were not required to divulge arrests that did not result in a conviction.

Now, job applicants are required to list arrests, with or without a resulting conviction. More "Hope and Change" we're better off without...

wool you need to carefully read through all of this thread again....ALL...!

I've read all of it and you still appear to be skirting around the juicy bit.
