HI All

Just a quick question.

I am receiving my new Irish Passport tomorrow. My old one will also be cancelled at the same time.

My current Non B extension of stay is stamped in my passport up until my current passport expires - December 2013. Also when i got my current extension of stay it was only given till my current passport expires and written in it it says that my extension is valid till June 2014.

What is the exact procedure to do this? Is there a particular form i must fill out.

Also my 90 day reporting is due tomorrow as well so hoping to do it all together.

If it does you will likely just have to copy the same fields onto there form. This is not a TM form so likely will be a local version but should have same fields to fill out. This is the website for all of Thailand so unless you can find on the website of the office you use with local modifications it is your best bet - only takes a minute to fill in if you have to do at office.

Form is good everywhere. Just did it here in Ubon.

Get a letter from consulate asking immigration to transfer stamps.

Make a copy TM6 departure card also.

I gave them a copy of every page of passport just in case and they kept all of them..

Hi Ubojoe - My consulate say they dont do such letters - just to bring old and new passport

It will be up to Immigration but your Consulate should provide such a letter - even the UK will do if asked (and they used to never do even when passport was being issued in Bangkok).

I don't understand why any embassy or consulate makes such a big deal out of the letter.

US embassy gave me a letter with a blank space for new passport issuance date that officer filled in, signed and stamped. No name, no passport numbers. Immigration accepts these with a smile.
