PATTAYA:--Police Major General Katcha, the Provincial Police Commander, held a press conference at Chonburi City Police Station on Friday to announce the seizure of 18,200 Yabba Tablets and the arrest of two suspected drug couriers from the North of Thailand.

The two men were stopped at a Police Checkpoint in the Chonburi City area in their Honda City car and appeared extremely nervous when asked to step-out of their vehicle in preparation for a search.

Police suspicions that something was wrong were justified when 18,200 Yabba Tablets concealed in Tissue Boxes were discovered in the boot of the car, buried underneath other items which the pair had just purchased from a Market in Bangkok after travelling down from the North of Thailand.

Khun Surasak aged 40 and Khun Surachaert aged 26 were also carrying 200,000 Baht in cash along with the illegal drugs which have an estimated street value of 3.94 Million Baht.

The police should concentrate more on these types arrest, but this arrest probably was just pure luck.
