August 26, 201312 yr Popular Post Let the authorities publish their photos in all thai and english newspapers to help in their hunt.
August 26, 201312 yr Popular Post Let the authorities publish their photos in all thai and english newspapers to help in their hunt. Arrest warrant, man hunt, and after a few months, forgiven and forgotten,
August 26, 201312 yr Popular Post They should probably start by looking in Thonglor brothels and karaoke bars.
August 26, 201312 yr Popular Post "manhunt". I am sure they can find these guys just like that if they want. The cops who are looking for them have probably worked together with them for years and know details of their private lives, friends, haunts and so on.
August 26, 201312 yr Popular Post "Two other police officers arrested in connection with the extortion case have denied any wrongdoing" Can't wait to hear these excuses.........................
August 26, 201312 yr Popular Post No doubt the manhunt will be conducted with the same energy and sense of purpose as shown by the DSI in finding a fugitive ex-monk
August 26, 201312 yr Popular Post They'll say they tried turning themselves in, but couldn't because fill in the blanks. Initially, there will be the appearance of discipline, maybe some token jail time, but they'll be quietly let out the back door - and probably go back to wearing cop uniforms. If they were Chalerm's sons, he would arrange for a general to harbor them, then the guys would slip over the border to Cambodia for a few months, while Chalerm claims he's had zero contact with them. They then would meet up with Chalerm in Singapore, then come back to Thailand and get a slap on the wrist, and then get promoted later to a high paying government jobs. Oops, sorry, forget what I just wrote. That scenario applies to murderers, not to petty extortionists.
August 26, 201312 yr "Two other police officers arrested in connection with the extortion case have denied any wrongdoing" Can't wait to hear these excuses......................... No wrongdoing . . . . . its our normal day to day JOB
August 26, 201312 yr They should set a real example .. put their pictures in every news papers , TV etc ..... ooops not good to lose face here ..... They acted under stress most probably.
August 26, 201312 yr Popular Post I wonder if the police have tried going to their houses and knocking on the door!
August 26, 201312 yr Didn't I read last week these two had been transferred? Why in God's name do these creeps get transferred instead of put in jail?
August 26, 201312 yr What about the major also connected to this case.. it got quiet about him quite fast.
August 26, 201312 yr Why in the world would the police publicize that they knew who they were or were after them - giving them time to flee? Why didn't the Thai police version of internal investigation, just make the arrests?
August 26, 201312 yr Have they checked their home or contacted their families? I assume they know where they live. Justice is already lost in this case since they already have reduced the offense by not mentioning the original kidnapping charge. Extortion is a lessor crime that happens every day with every business in Thailand.
August 26, 201312 yr "Two other police officers arrested in connection with the extortion case have denied any wrongdoing" Can't wait to hear these excuses......................... How about: "I had a couple of phone ins with god,- he made me do it"
August 26, 201312 yr Why in the world would the police publicize that they knew who they were or were after them - giving them time to flee? Why didn't the Thai police version of internal investigation, just make the arrests? Without the common 3 to 5 days advanced announcments of an arrest warrant , wouldn't it be like hunting in a zoo? No fun at all!
August 26, 201312 yr Why in the world would the police publicize that they knew who they were or were after them - giving them time to flee? Why didn't the Thai police version of internal investigation, just make the arrests? Very funny!
August 26, 201312 yr I think it is better to stop reporting all the crap we here about corrupt cops. Ladies and gentlemen, this is Thailand. We know all cops are corrupt. We know we cannot stop it. It's simple if you see a cop don't look, stop, talk, just walk away!
August 26, 201312 yr "Two other police officers arrested in connection with the extortion case have denied any wrongdoing" Can't wait to hear these excuses......................... ...just following orders...
August 26, 201312 yr I am sure the Thai police will eventually catch up with them, question them and find out it was all just a big misunderstanding and the police were trying to help the silly Italians.
August 26, 201312 yr why are they on the run? just surrender and they get suspended or transferred, nothing more or less
August 26, 201312 yr Running is an admission of guilt in my view. Bad press is accumilating around the world about the officials and police in this country. Bad news travels faster than ever before thanks to the advances in communications, this is something that the corrupt officials and the extortionists have not cottoned onto yet.
August 26, 201312 yr The Police who perpetrated this kidnapping for ransom need to be made an example of,putting them in an inactive post or at a desk is not enough, they need to be banged up,If a villain had carried out this crime and were caught they would be in a world of trouble. If your going to be a villain be a villain, dont hide behind a uniform to carry out your crimes, and give the few decent Police a bad name.
