Truevision - sound

Over the last 2 or 3 months I have been randomly losing sound, from Truevision, satellite. I know it isn't my set top boxes, or the dish amp, I'm a telecommunications tech by trade, so was wondering how widespread this is and whether we should complain in mass. The sound stops, as I said before, randomly and lasts for a few seconds, then returns. Please keep to my post, do not go off on any wild tangent, do not start asking if I have checked all connections, the TV's etc etc.

Same exact problem here except mine has been closer to a year...sucks. I've learned to lip read the best I can.
