I had trouble finding a hotel in Pattaya to stay for the night as I have 2 dogs. I was very luck to walk into the new white sands hotel in Pattaya/joitmen beach owned by a gentleman from the USA called Shawn. He let me stay in his hotel with my 2 dogs

we x-pats now have another hotel in Pattaya that we can use for weekend breaks away with our dogs.

The bloke is charming as so I hope I can post his number to help people make a booking 038 074 674

Hey All,

First want to give props to Chang Noi for recommending us, people like her and Allan are the main reason we're willing to accept pets. Good people, who represent well.

Chang Noi is correct in stating that pets are welcome here ( we do ask for an extra 50 baht per animal per night). We have an undeveloped area behind our guest house which is great for walking.

Anyway, if you're down this way, hope you'll give us a look. Our restaurants also up and running, and we have a full service bar and beer garden. All reasonably priced. You can check us out on Facebook http://www.facebook.com/pages/White-Sands-InnPattayaJomtien-Beach/370644702982098 , book there or by giving us a call at 038 074 674. My wife Sami and I look forward to meeting you.

My partner, Nobelcat, and I recently stayed at Elegant Lanna in Chiang Mai city center for a week with our small well-behaved dog for about 550 baht a night. They were very friendly towards the dog. Great location, close to everything and quiet too! thumbsup.gif

They have a website, google: Boutique Guesthouse Elegant Lanna

Hi guys,

My wife and I have been searching high and low for somewhere in BKK to stay for 3 months with our 2 dogs.

I can't believe how many places advertise 'pets ok' on some booking sites only to find out through contacting them direct that they don't accept any pets.

There was one place on Kanchanapisek road through a contact on here which I must say, a very nice family but it just wasn't for us. The price was very fair, around 10k per month.

So after driving everywhere we have found Bangkok Garden Resort, 351 soi Intraporn, Wangthonglang, Bangkok, 10310. Tel no. 025394762.

We are paying 17k per month and the nice young lady even lets our dogs hang out with her in reception whilst we are out. I must stress though that we didn't call we just turned up and she accepted. The price is still a little high but there is not many options out there.

Tuscany ave, Apartments.

Behind the Tesco Lotus on Phahon Yothin rd near central plaza, reccommend taking a motorbike taxi to get to it,

A 10,000 baht fee was agreed over the phone for a corner room between my wife and the apartment. We both showed up to view it then came the hidden costs. Make of that what you will.

They do accept dogs.

Ibis hotels in Bangkok are pet friendly.

They were the only hotel available for my cats when we had to evacuate.

We tried checking in with our dogs (2) and were told 1 pet per room. Pathetic.

Hi everybody,

End of this month, by road, I move from Kuala Lumpur to Bangkok with our 3 Golden Retrievers.

As I cannot get an hotel in Malaysia, I have to drive straight to the Border. So I plan to be early morning in Sadao for quarantine inspection, which means we need to sleep somewhere in the Sadao/ Hat Yai region.

Any information welcome

Jerry

There is a hostel in Bangrak Samui that I think would allow animals for a short term stay, it's primarily a hostel but there are expats living upstairs. There are also apartments and private doubles for rent.

It is not my intention to spam however my wife and I run a Dog Friendly Home Stay in Ban Chang, Rayong. We have secure compound, pool, gym, large, nicely furnished rooms with all mod cons. Short or long stay. Family roomds. Google "Penny's Home Stay Resort Rayong" Rooms 999 baht per night, pets stay free. Contact 0800971293.

We are dog owners and will be exploring some of the hotels mentioned so perhaps can provide more feedback.

Thanks

Doc

"House By The Pond just off of Sukhumvit 22 is pet friendly. There are gardens on the property and a park is not far away.

Shama Sukhumvit will let long stay guests have pets but one month is not long stay.

Novotel at the airport will let your dog stay in a cage in Security. OK if you're catching a flight with your pup".

This was posted in another thread, thought I'd hijack it.

Flora House in Chiang Mai is dog friendly. They have rooms with kitchenettes and it's a nice place off Huey Geaw road only 10 minutes away from city centre and close to central shopping mall.

Bangkok.

Hotel@Viper. Soi 44 Vibhavadi, Rangsit Frontage Road, Lat Yao. 092-653-7474

By looking on google maps this used to be named Inter Residence.

980 baht per night with no extra charges. Very clean rooms but come with wooden floors. The area itself is not so dog friendly but for one night its fine.

Interesting reading but please when giving recommendations to pet friendly hotels please state the size of dog and number accepted. One small chihuahua is not the same as 2 St. Bernards.

Not at the moment, just browsing to find a place suitable for a break with the whole family.

I'd say more like a lake. Couldn't tell you exactly how big the place is but there is plenty of places nearby to let the dog loose.
