Work From Phuket

Hi people,

I am 24 years old guy from Finland who was living and working in Phuket last year. I was working a diving company what was located to Phuket. At the moment I am looking for any kind of job from Phuket, pretty much anything, bars, restaurants and diving companies. I just got my Bachelor about tourism and now I am ready to hit the field and come back to Phuket and work hard as I can! If you have any jobs to offer or contacts, don't mind to contact to me. Working in Thailand has been my dream since I started to study tourism. I am always ready for the new challenges and I really enjoy making customers holiday memorable. I have been living and travelled in different countries and at the moment I am feeling to live in one place and explore it more. I am ready to work at a high position and be a good worker. I am very motivated to work with challenges and this job will allow me to work hard and learn new things every day.

I studied for a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality at Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences in Porvoo, Finland. I made my exchange year in The Netherlands in a city called Breda. I studied international tourism management and consultancy for one year at NHTV University of Applied Sciences. Some of the courses that I completed relate to the post that you are offering: tourism impact studies, tourism planning and development, tourism perspective, marketing and understanding the tourism consumer. I think those courses can help me a lot to do this position.

I have worked in a restaurant many summers when I had summer holiday from my school. I did my University internship with diving company Raya Divers in Phuket last year, so Phuket is very familiar area for me. During my internship I was excursion leader on the trips to the Phi Phi, Raya Yai, Raya Noi and Coral islands I really enjoy to be an excursion and snorkelling guide during the trips. I also did duties at the office and I was representing the company in info meetings for clients. Placement gave me a lot of experience about customer service, how to work in a team and how to work under pressure and also I got some contacts from Phuket who are available to arrange accommodation for me.

I played over ice-hockey and football over ten years, so I really know how to work in a team. I made my military service in the Finnish army, what was good test to my social, psychical and mental skills. I think all those things that I mentioned are important on the hotel jobs.
