Silly question, but why so many photos?

Featured Replies

On most of the Thai language school sites, they ask for many "passport" photos. Some schools ask for 6, some ask for 10, and one even asks for 12. Does anyone know why they want so many photos when the embassy only requires you to bring two? What do they do with all of these photos?

Also, is it standard for all of these "passport" photos to be duplicates of eachother? Just 12 copies of one photos or should you have 12 different pictures?

Some of this Visa stuff seems so ridiculous haha bah.gif

I would guess photos are asked for in advance to prepare documentation for your extensions.

I am sure they can be all the same.

Most photo shops require you purchase xx number of photos anyway.

I had to order 6 to get 1 for my passport application.

Because most of them will go inside your dossier @ Ministry of Education and for letters of Extension you will obtain every 3 months

I would make all the photos different just to stir the pot.

Good idea.

That way, when the cops decide to arrest you for one reason or another,

They can charge you with being not one person with one identity, but one person with a dozen identities.

Have your cash close at hand…..

BS

its only 120 baht for 12 pictures :-)
