Theoretically yes... But I imagine some psychology also comes into it on the part of the Immigration officers. A friend was recently travelling with her son (11 years old) - she has not officially changed her name, although legally married. Immigration officers asked the Son a couple of questions... (is this your mother etc), they were easily satisfied by the answers. -
