Wouldn't a mobile be more practical?

I've got an old black telephone that would fit in there rather nicely; had it since it was on my desk in the 70's. If anyone finds out who makes the booth's and prices please post info'.

Always handy to have one for changing into one's TV persona clothes smile.png

A police box is a British telephone kiosk or callbox located in a public place for the use of members of the police, or for members of the public to contact the police. Unlike an ordinary callbox, its telephone is located behind a hinged door so it can be used from the outside, and the interior of the box is, in effect, a miniature police station for use by police officers

How about the A and B buttons and then the operator asking the user to insert the 4d.

Now I`m really showing my age.
