A Thai Phone Advert that has been making people cry (but probably not TVF'ers!)

What? No childish babbling? Daring ad by that wretched company - hate to praise them, but ...

If only Thailand was at it's heart like this it would be a most wonderful country - some people are in every country of the world thank goodness. They should follow it up by giving a shed load of money to charity to atone for the sentiments they are trading upon.

Coincidentally I was just about to post that same video and saw it already up. The cynics will be around shortly. biggrin.png

Wow, can't find something better than "wretched company"?? Geez, for ONCE, can't people just look at a good video and say "well done"????

Thai bashing OF COURSE!

advertising companies and the people who employ them unashamedly steal our most precious memories and emotions and turn them into money. Seductive and beautifully made, but ultimately empty and meaningless when such masterful film-making amounts to trivia. Shed your tears for the rich bounty humanity can offer when it can make a difference for those in need, not for a corporate giant intent on satisfying shareholders.

Paying decent advertizing companies sure does pay off.

4 or 5 postings on this forum alone. Imagine how many on all the Thai forums combined! And all for free.

And all associating the company with decent, goodwill emotions that the viewers will psychologically recall when they see the logo from now on.

Brilliant work.

Very true indeed. But Humans are so.

When one human is sick and rotting without money... many others spend millions of $'s partying.

So...???

Who feels guilty?

Is this not today's world?

This advert has gone viral, I was looking at a Russian owned site and saw this on there and a couple of other sites had links to it as well. A truly touching advert, I don't care if it was used to sell Anasol as it really is a good piece of work.

Not so sure. Quite often when the ad is highly entertaining or really stirs emotions, unless the company's name is embedded in the story context, people can't even recall who was running the ad.

It would be nice if True Move gave the telecommunications users of Thailand something.

As it is now we're the ones giving them money each month with no expectation of receiving anything in return -- and mostly we get very little.

You snivelling lot should take a leaf out of Chopper's book

It doesn't matter what the end product is, this is a very moving price and shows what humanity is all about.
