This Sunday Sept 22 there is going to be a ride starting at the San Sai Luang Municipal District organized by the Lanna Bicylce Network for the "ride a bike to stop global warming" activity. Registration 5:30 - 7:30 a.m. during which there will be a show. Start time is 7:30 a.m. This info is from Chaing Mai City News. If any one has more details please post. I will reach out to the local riders I know and investigate further and post too if I find anything more out. As it says 5th annual and I believe the start is at the San Sai Ampur Tessabun which is on the old San Sai road (Route 1001) off of Doi Saket road (Route 118) as have the previous rides I've joined in. In the past a huge turn out of Thias so always nice to ride with them and be involved in local activities. Hope to see you there!

I know your being sarcastic or at least trying to be funny but so you don't scared others off these events have always been as well organized as necessary for the smaller roads. This is for the community by the community and is designed to be fun for all.

Just a last minuet update just announced at 6 pm tonight, which is actually the first information that has been shared with the community where the ride course is.The evening news, by way of the loudspeakers hanging on poles, said that the ride would be going past San Sai Luang temple to Mae Gaet Temple to Ban Tung Yao to sala at Ban Pa Muat to Ba to Pai Muang Wa. Well at least the late news serves the purpose of getting this back on top of the posts for one more time.
