Flood Situation

Featured Replies

How is Pattaya looking flood-wise? I am leaving LAX Sunday night heading to BKK. Do you think there will be any issue traveling from BKK to Pattaya via the bus? It looks like the typhoon just passed Taiwan so the air route should be OK. What happens once I land in Thailand is a concern. I see the news mentioning several provinces around Bangkok but not much about Pattaya, Chonburi etc..

I did see a couple of puddles last week but sun has been out yesterday and this morning.

Pattaya only floods for a short time after heavy rain...the drains just cant handle it.

But you wont see the flood there as in Ayutthaya for example.

Because nothing yo report...sunny and no floods as I look out my window this morning.

Don't worry about the rain falling on your head. Just stay clear of condos and hotels.
