where young people are involved the police always speculate its related to drugs but it could also be related to a vigilante attack

for sure its going to happen one day here

which Police suspect may be related to illegal drugs

Could also be warring gangs. Have seen first hand armed Thai teenagers in the north threatening another gang. Scary stuff. Sign of the times???

Well, seeing how both kids have been arrested on drug-related charges before, the police may not be too far off.

Sign of the times? Not sure, gangs have been fighting over the lucrative alcohol/booze/women trade for decades if not centuries.

Sure gangs have been having turf wars for years but I know teenagers shooting each other wasn't part of my teen years. I know it happened in other countries but are teens with guns a 'sign of the times' in the LOS now?

when my wife and I moved into our newly built house up country around ten years ago, my wife organised a house warming party with around 250

guests and a huge stage with dancing girls and singers, (I would have preferred just a few friends and some Jack D) Three things about the party

have remained in my memory, The Bill, the fact that a lot of the cutlery my wife rented disappeared from the tables at the end of the evening, and

that my wife had thought it prudent to hire four off duty Thai Army Rangers, armed with pump action shotguns to stop the young guys from a neighbouring village

(who were sure to be carrying weapons I was told by locals) from attacking young guys from her village, who were attending the Shindig,

The Teens from the other village waited over the road all evening for a chance to fight, but never got the chance.

Seems this is going on with armed gang throughout LOS

Love the idea, even if I'll never have a Thai wedding. But for other occasions is still great company.
