What a credit to Thailand! A young, hard working entrepeneur with a social concience. Imagine how difficult it must have been for her to develop a successful company at such a young age. When she had time to develop an interest in politics, while she had her nose to the grindstone, is beyond me.

Nepotism is a bad thing in any organization , this donation is so disgraceful, it is not worthy of a reply. bah.gifbah.gifbah.gif

How long have you been in Asia? Family-owned businesses are the norm in Asia, especially in Chinese communities and in India, Japan and Korea. For example, look up 'Chaebol' in Wikipedia. You might be surprised to learn that Hyundai and Samsung are family-run businesses (and the president of Hyundai Heavy Industries was elected to S Korea's national assembly). People have to stop thinking that the Western way is the only way. That said, Walmart is still 'run' by the Walton family (the Chairman is the son of the founder). And go look up who the executive chairman of Ford is (hint: his surname starts with F and ends with D).
