You know what's the real funny part of this story?

"Areas facing the biggest flood threat include the large Industrial Estate 304, where 20 factories are already flooded."

After the floods of 2011, Estate 304 launched a massive campaign to advertise the fact that 304 was so high up from sea-level that they could not get flooded.

Many companies from Navanakorn, Bang Pa-In, Hi-Tech, Rojana all moved to 304. You check their list of factories and you'll see.

Even now, when you pass Navanakorn heading north, at the junction going to Bang Bua Thong, you find a massive billboard that says: "Come To The High Lands"

Every time I see that and then the news of 304 getting flooded, I just cant stop myself from smiling.... Navanakorn now has a huge floodwall. Nothing will happen here, I didn't move my company... 304 though, in all their arrogance, thought they'd never need a floodwall... so those companies spending billions to move are now, 2 years later having the same problems again!

It takes a very special type of excuse for a person to find this sort of natural disaster anything like funny.

P.M. Yingluck and Banharn seen here inspecting the devastation caused to hundreds of thousands of families due to severe flooding.

The seriousness of the situation can be gauged by their facial expressions.

Good work Madam P.M. good to see you at work, the people are behind you, or in some cases struggling against the bow wave caused by your truck.

And Barnhan, convicted for vote irregularities, now rebirthed it seems, now in the limelight for no good reasons (speaking historically) failed to get buy in to the latest attempt to talk up reconciliation / whitewash, etc., and there today with no official position.

Where's 'plod'? At least he should be there in terms of his official capacity, but absent. Considering his big mouth maybe they want him out of the limelight?

Also I have to say it angers me that they try to use this to their political advantage by trying to make people believe that Taksin is trying to help them by putting his photo all over bags of aid. I would hope that when people see this they will think about the promises he and his puppet and all their cronies have made and see the reality that in fact their lives have not improved one iota under the rule of these idiots and all they have done is steal money from the country that COULD HAVE been used to make it better...

Given the Government's high ability to be inept.

It would not surprise me one bit if the contents of those bags was less use to them than bag's with a Ronald McDonald picture on them.

Hello All, yes, in the 2010 flood in Korat when A was PM,

I saw him in a army truck checking out the damages with

people that were in charge locally. Things got done.

It really does seem that for the little people to get any attention from the big pooyai in Bangkok, the only way is a national disaster.

A flood-prone, low-lying land is going to get floods on a regular basis. Apparently the people of old knew this, and built their homes on stilts. There are steps which can be taken to mitigate the damage, but only so much that can be done, to hold back or divert all that water. I doubt there is enough money in the national treasury to really do much.

And now you're all going to pipe up about how Y's govt stole all the money, how she's personally lacking in smarts and personal integrity, how if you were running things, it would all be so much better.

Every day, no matter what, the same whining. Tedious.

Do you actually think that this is Y's govt., that she makes any decisions, decides whose in the cabinet or what happens ?

I can't work out how Mr. Ten Percent is going to get his 10%. Their has to be a contract out their somewhere because he can't get his 10% of the top unless he signs something.
