Anyone else have 3bb outtage for their internet for the past couple of hours? I'm out in San Sai village itself.

I just set up an Apple base station for my wifi yesterday and all seemed fine for a day. So I'm just working out if it's my new setup or 3bb at fault.

My DSL light is flashing which usually indicates it's 3bb. But with no outtages for months now, The timing of me setting up my apple airport seems a tad suspect.

Thanks

Not countrywide I don't think. A friend of mine in chiang mai but not near me reckons his is ok.

But maybe they are doing some work so perhaps it's just a bit spotty with the outtages.

Thanks George

I'm wondering: if your connection was out, how could you post this topic?

Hangdong is Ok. Since 5 or 6 years that I get 3bb, it never went down, only a little slow at times, specially in the evening and most specially on saturdays.

Bangkok good as well.

In fact the best day in about 8 months.

Dam, i may actually have to pay a full months subscription if this keeps up.

Shame if it does, will kind of miss my monthly trip to 3bb counter to fill out my complaint/compensation form.

Basic package of 631 thb per month. Dont think I ever paid them more than 300 thb. Yes many phone calls and many visits by "engineer's" they always come in pairs, then trip to town fill in form and receive your reduction.

Fantastic service 3bb, long may it continue.

San Sai 3BB up and running just fine all day yesterday; seldom any downtime in the past seven months at least. My 'internet access' button at the base of the page, when kliked, shows any breaks and where in the system.

What software do you use for checking uptime?

Hi, I use no software. I have Windows 7 installed, with a remote ASUS ADSL Router.Acess covers both floors, and i suspect the immediate neighbours.

On the bottom bar of the screen is the 'internet access' icon w 5 vertical white bars ascending from the left. On start-up this is yellow in color and chgs to white as the internet strength improves. It has always shown full bars, even in heavy rains, unlike say, TruthSat.

3BB techs when installing the connection from the road pole to my property have always sunk a 1-meter-plus conductivity rod into the ground; they've done this at the three places I've stayed at over the years (Central Airport-Lotus area, Chotana-LannaPoly area, and now Sansai).

As mentioned, I've had no problems with 3BB, and possibly the conductivity rod is the reason. Possibly check to see your outside earth rod connection exists.

Cheers
