eezergood
Looking for a shop that sells second hand furniture or a reasonable priced new place. I only want a simple table & chairs for the balcony, folding would be best. Any suggestions"?
NamKangMan
Wood, plastic or steel?
fiddlehead
Best to search bahtsold or craigslist as the 2nd hand shops seem to sell stuff for the same price as new unless it's something in really sad shape. You can find deals on the want ads. I think even thai visa has a section for classifieds.
Popular Post Shot
You can buy the cheap plastic stuff at SuperCheap, it doubles as folding furniture if you weigh over 100kg.

tolsti
If you use Facebook there is a group (or two) on there advertising stuf for sale on Phuket. Many differing items. Have a look.
LivinginKata
I guess the OP is based in Patong (from his posts). There are no furniture shops (new or second hand) in Patong. Quite honestly forget the second hand places, years ago I checked out the second hand places in Chalong, all rubbish and charging near new prices. You need to get over to Phuket Town, I use places like Bird (Choafa East, before you get ino Phuket Town, just opposite the big PTT gas station. Another place is on bypass, before/opposite the big Lotus. Next to/just before the Esso gas station, can't remember the name just at this moment.

stevehaigh
there's a good second hand place near the bus station, but on the other side (supercheap side), about 200m on the town (south) side of supercheap.

"i'm useless with facebook" - a loss of "face" in Thailand is a serious thing. :)
