I'm not getting commision from any of the mentioned companies .

This is / was the question !

Why do you appear to be obsessed with visa bus companies?

I'm going to drop another plus mark for ThaivisaRun.

Did a run with them yesterday (thursday). New full size bus, edible food, watchable entertainment (2 classic episodes of Fools and Horses + 3 movies).

Left 09.30 back in BKK at 19.30 (bad traffic on the way back). Less than an hour at the border, no hassle.

it seems like the ThaiVisaRun company leaves the latest, why no one else departure later than 9:30?
catch a bus from Morchit after 9:30. Since everyone goes to Ban Laem now, Poipet can't be too bad, I guess.

ask the Filipinos/Thais and they will tell you that they still have to wait for up to 2 hours to come back to Thailand.

The hassle/trouble still exist and you are easily overcharged.

I guess everyone leave early so they are back before 5pm, as some people still have a long way home.

The Ekamai guy even moved his time from 10.00am to 09.30am.

Used Jack's regulary in the past , one time Thaivisarun(Ekamai) and the last two time Thaivisaservice which leaves @ 08.00am from OnNut.

Very convenient as they go both ways via Expressway next to Tesco/Lotus. We were back @ 05.15pm, no hassle at the border as the big buses from BKK have left . Food in casino is decent and we were a nice group of 6 and 8 people. The van they use is a new VIP Commuter with TV, so the ride is OK.

if i have a choice (and time) i'd prefer to fly somewhere on a visa run. people to visit, places to see. however, if you insist on subjecting yourself to the unique form of torture that is the visa run by bus from bkk, jack's golf are good people, and a good service.

but it leaves too early, I prefer the other service at Sukhumvit 63, depart 0930. when the world cup is on in June, I was wondering how many people could get up that early for the visarun?

Of course they'll get up that early, and then the whole bus smells like a bottle of whiskey.

A friend recently used the jack golf visa run. He was appalled by the misdescription of what one could expect. NO VIP BUS but a small minivan with noisy and uncomfortable shock absorbers was used NO FREE DRINKS , NO NEWSPAPERS NO TV etc etc as had been promised. Of course a big VIP DOUBLE DECKER COACH must be far safer should a collision occur. Worst of all my friend told me that passengers' passports were taken on boarding the van and no receipt given nor were they even held by the driver. in his van ..very worrying indeed .

On the flip side of the coin, my friend was extremely pleased with the jack golf staff who could not do enough to help and assist him , to the extent of even taking the passengers home at the end of the journey. The staff were just superb. One was well looked after and the casino free meal great. Recommend JACK GOLF ? Depends which you value more.... a comfortable journey or unbeatable and caring staff.

Jack's normally go daily with two VIP Buses, except Monday's.

I guess it's low season for them and they try to cut cost or one of the coaches broke down and was not repaired on time.

Further I guess yr friend used 05.30 am service to PoiPet.

In my opinion they should have told customer that on that day no big Bus and if Van is OK.

Crossy, we back 6:30 yesterday at the ekkamai station, good movies.

A short summary :

you are safe with Jack's and ThaiVisaService .

For the more advanced VisaRunners they might try the CasinoBus.

What time does this casino bus leave?

Where should people congregate?

I *want* to go to the casino! If people don't want to go, how do they get back from the border?

Does the bus just wait for them??

What is the name of the casino, btw...

Visarunner , you are wrong. My friend did the run with them yesterday.

The coach was full and he was offered a seat in the Minivan, not the latest model and not much comfort, needless to say he was not pleased.

There’s never been a best visa run company in Bangkok, the only difference is their departure time.

I have been with finedaytour.com, ‘cause they leave as early as 4:45, make sure I can come back at noon.

I have been with thaivisarun.com, they leave the latest, and you can have a good sleep before catch the bus. There are also a few other companies leaving the time between them, they are good though, up to you what time would you like to go? And what time would you like to be back?

I think the best visa run company is the one that knows thai visa business better than the others. If you always stay with only one company all the time, you will never know who is the best.

Couldn't agree more with Roobar.

Have heard good reviews for Fineday,ThaiVisaRun and ThaiVisaService lately.

Jack's need to work hard to keep the customers they have build over the years.

I've used Jack Golf for a couple of months. Although satisfied, I think it's a waste of money ...

Nowadays I go with the casino bus.

Leaves: 4:00 am (about)

Arrival Poi Pet: 7:00 am (about)

Return: noon

Arrival Bangkok: 4:00 pm

Cost: THB 100 one way. Friendly staff. No check if you visit the casinos or not.

One note: Be sure to arrive between 3:00 am-3:15 am. If the bus is full, they leave.

Normal circumstances (weekdays) you have your Thai stamp at 8:30 am. If you don't want to wait

for the bus to go back, you can take the regular bus from Aranyaprathet (9:00 am).

Motorcycle Poi Pet-Aran 50 baht

Bus : 207 baht

Arrival at Morchit around 1:30 pm.

You need to study English, my friend. From the mistakes you made, I think you are Thai. Edited by Roobar

I would guess the guy who charges 1,800 baht must use a NGV for the transportation.

If it is true,i think it's very dangerous.!!!!!

Before posting nonsense why not check out the details on the guys webside.

All the VisaRunCompanies advertise in the BKKPost and you can check the relevant webpages for information or ask the operator directly .

Posted (edited)

with so many operators to choose from you will find the most convenient/suitable way to do a VisaRun.

Operators leave between 05.00am and 09.30am.

My advise : avoid Aran/PoiPet and go to the "new border" .

Fineday used to have "buy 10, get one free" loyalty cards where you build up stamps with each trip and get an 11th trip for free when you complete the card's 10 stamps. Are they still doing this, or are any other companies?

Always amazed about how much response the Topics about VisaRun generates.

Nice idea with these loyalty cards, Jack has them too, take a look at the webpage.

However can you plan 10 trips in a row?

let a visarun company keep your 20K for almost 10 months in order to get a free visarun, that sounds very strange....., do you need a financial consultant mate?

Personally I would recommend ThaiVisaRun run by Phil ,leaves in a new bus 09.30 from Ekamai and ThaiVisaService run by Claudio&Morn , leaves in a new Van/VIP 08.00 from OnNut.

Both are knowledgeable about Visa , Visaregulations and on top their service is OK, hence my vote for them.
