Phrae - Maesai..................... or bust.

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

I hope you are all well.

Mrs Quietman would like me to take her to Maesai so she can buy stuff for her shop. No problem.

However, I am used to taking the bus when I had to go there many moons ago for my visa runs. This time I would like to take a few days getting there and returning.

Are there any good tourist attractions on the way. Maybe some hot springs I could soak in. Maybe some caves or really nice temples. Anything unusual or pretty, waterfalls etc.

Also accommodation on the way. We are going by pickup but I am open to anything. We have tents so any nice camping areas ? Any cheap and cheerful B&B's ? Any nice resorts (real ones, not ones where they call it a resort when it isn't) any unusual accommodation choices ? (I am not a snob, I will sleep almost anywhere)

I would really like to make this trip a little more interesting than normal so any feedback is very much appreciated.

Take care Guys.

Regards,
