My current visa expires on 10th September (a Sunday) and I am going off to work in Bangladesh this week for a few months.

I will be back on holiday but I will need to get a letter from a couple of banks, 2 letters from my pension companies etc.

I live about 400 km from BKK and I am hoping to run it all through Suan Phlu at the beginning of the week of September 4th.

Can I do it earlier than that?

Cheers

You can apply up to 30 days early. But remember you must visit on the date specified to pick up your extension of stay and that is normally about 40-45 days after application in Bangkok. You will also have to have a re-entry permit for the short extension of stay you receive from Immigration during the wait period if you plan travel.

Thanks Lopburi3.

I went to Suan Phlu on Monday and I couldn't get any sense at all from the people at the information desk. Probably a mis-communication on my part.

I amy be able to squeeze a few extra days from them and I can fly back easily enough provided I can convince my boss to let me go for a couple of weeks the first time and a couple of days later.

It is an afternoon flight back from Dhaka and a 1030 take off in the morning to go back there.
