ICT Administrator for International School, Koh Samui

An International School in Koh Samui, Thailand is looking for an energetic and hard-working ICT Administrator.

You must be able to work in a team environment and perform under pressure whilst keeping your cool!

Key Skills:

• UNIX server administration (Samba, CUPS, Apache - Ubuntu knowledge would be advantageous)
• Network administration – setting up new users for access to network resources and the internet – knowledge of Primary Domain Controllers on Ubuntu would be advantageous
• Desktop support – Windows XP, Vista, 7 and 8, Mac OSX, associated software (MS Office knowledge advantageous) and hardware
• Website design and administration – WordPress, CSS, PHP and Photoshop
• Hardware installation – regular maintenance and repair of breakdowns, as well as new build-ups of workstations are required
• Documentation – you will be required to create and update all ICT documentation for the school
• Printer and Photocopier maintenance
• Administration - good record keeping skills extremely advantageous!
• Systems Analysis – be able to provide analysis with management on all IT projects
• Problem solving – a logical mind for solving problems is really beneficial

The successful candidate should have a great personality and be comfortable working in a busy school environment.

Visa and Work Permit are provided by the school, along with great benefits including annual flight allowance (subject to performance). Salary is negotiable depending on your experience.
