My Cambodian Wife and our son will be returning to Cambodia soon - we have to stay one night in Bangkok. My question is do i need to get a transit Visa for the missus and can I get this at the airport or do I have to get it in london before we fly ?

See Visa & Health.

Cambodian ordinary passport holders do not qualify for the Tourist Visa Exemption nor the Visa on Arrival. If they wish to leave the transit lounge, then they would have to apply for Transit visas at the Royal Thai Embassy or Consulate in the UK.

However, holders of Cambodian diplomatic or official or service/special passports are exempt from visa requirements and are permitted to stay in Thailand for 30 days.
