narkeddiver
With great timing my mate is arriving in CM on November 1st - from what I remember of elections the bars will be dry from 18:00 on the 1st I normally stock up with a few beers at home but what happens in the tourist areas such as Loi Kroh - is my mate going to be marooned for a couple of days? Chiengmaijoe
It's not a national election so it won't be as strongly enforced . I would imagine Loi Kroh will get hit, as it usually does, but back-street bars or bar-restaurants will get away with selling booze on the sly. As has been stated , it's the 3rd, so the evening of 2nd will be enforced, but probably the 3rd will be ignored after 6pm.
