October 9, 201312 yr I currently have an O-A non-immigrant visa with multiple entry extension that is about to expire. I am totally confused as to the forms I will need to renew/get a retirement visa as Thai site says form not for retirement. Also do I need a doctor's form, I heard this was no longer required.
October 9, 201312 yr Have you done an extension of stay before or are you still on a OA visa entry? You fill out a TM7 application form. A medical certificate is not required. You have to show proof of income of 65K baht or 800K baht in the bank for 90 days or a combination of the two. Proof is letter from your embassy for income. Letter from bank to confirm your bank balance and bank book to prove that is has been in the bank for 90 days. Edited October 9, 201312 yr by ubonjoe
October 9, 201312 yr Where you live will determine the exact requirements but basically you fill out a TM.7 form with 4x6cm photo taken within last six months attached to back of it (you can download and print both sides of A4 sheet or use form in office). You may need a copy also if not done in Bangkok but varies. You will need copies of your passport data page, non immigrant visa page, arrival and any other stamps since then plus departure card. Again several sets may be required if not in Bangkok. You will require financial proof as point out above. You will likely need some proof of residence and maybe a map to there from Immigration (just hand drawn like for a shop delivery works). Fee will be 1,900 baht for extension. You may also want to obtain a re-entry permit which would require more copies, photo and fee. You had a non immigrant O-A multi entry? And you exited near the end of its one year validity to obtain a new one year stay already?
