Chalerm collapses in office, rushed to hospital

BANGKOK: -- Labour Minister Chalerm Yoobamrung collapsed in his office at the Labour Ministry Monday afternoon and was rushed to a hospital.

He was talking to Pol Gen Pongsapat Pongcharoen, the secretary-general of the Office of Narcotics Control Board, when he suddenly collapsed.

He was rushed to the Ramathibodi Hospital at 1:45 pm.

Chalerm has received a brain injury and has returned to work for a week.
