PATTAYA:--An 18 year old motorcyclist was killed in the early hours of Friday in a head-on collision with a pick-up truck.

The incident occurred in Soi Chayapornviti off the Sukhumvit Road in North Pattaya, just before 2.30am, and resulted in the death of Khun Adisuk. His motorbike collided head-on with an Isuzu D-Max pick-up driven by Khun Sombat aged 44 who was returning to his food shop on Pattaya Second Road after buying items at an early morning market in East Pattaya. He told Police that he was suddenly confronted by the speeding motorbike which over-took a slower moving vehicle travelling in the opposite direction.
