I know Bangkok Airways is flying to Hangzhou/China, but it's quite expensive; we used them before.

For 2 people it's more than 45.000 Baht, both ways.

It's about 4 hours flying.

What options would you (experienced China-travellers) advise?

Are there cheaper flights into Shanghai ?(from there about 2 hours by car to Hangzhou).

I couldn't find any, since they're even more expensive.

Thanks for your input.

Thanks Rasel, will look into it but it seems quite a hassle trip...

But thanks anyway for your input!

2 poossib:

1.via HKG )cheap enough ex BKK) and book again from there, dragonair, or perhaps even combo fare now

2.indeed via Sh-Hai, its just 200 kms to HZhou (did It few month ago) and there are DIRECT airport buses (just a few) Pudong-HZhou.

PS; tix es SZhen are not really that cheap if bought at airpt (much less if prearranged speaking Chinese at local agents, =samesame as in LOS here, but without the Lingo....) In that case, try GuangZhou instead

my last trip HZH has been via Shanghai. return ticket ex BKK (AI) was 10000 baht. Train SHG-HZH 2 hours, 48 RMB. AI isn't a good airline but 4 hours....who cares?

Thanks for the input...but what is 'AI' airline...Air India....?
