Petty Officer blamed for Highway 331 crash in Baan Chang, Rayong

BAAN CHANG:--A Chief Petty Officer First Class is one of five people injured after his vehicle veered into the opposing lane on Highway 331 on Friday Night.

Police and rescue services were called to the scene of the crash close to Baan Chang in Rayong Province and rescuers assisted those injured, some of whom were trapped in the vehicles.

Chief Petty Officer First Class Nipon aged 31 was driving a Toyota Vigo pick-up which witnesses saw move over to the opposing carriageway and into the path of a Mitsubishi Triton pick-up driven by Khun Worawoot aged 28. Driving behind this vehicle was Khun Bangnapan aged 30 in a Mitsubishi L200 pick-up. He was uninjured but his vehicle sustained serious damage.
