I used to live there too, before the Japanese found out it's a (well used to be anyway) pretty good honeymoon destination! Used to be a regular at Trader Vics on Maui for quite a while...had a blast...back when Lahaina was a small quiet town...and for the most part...the West Coast of the US hadn't ever left Oahu..hah!

February 7, 201511 yr ^^^ Shaggy...Thanks. He used to drink so much he had blackouts. Then he quit cold turkey. That's what did him in...sudden stoppage of alcohol. He went quick...no suffering. A good reminder to us all if we drink large quantities of booze. Taper off...no sudden stops...live longer that way.

February 7, 201511 yr I have stroked it , rubbed it , even washed it a long time ago but it still grieves me the confounded piece of mechanical insabordinance , is that a word ? It is a scissor lift mate , a no good adaptation to the problems that all who use them , problem = work . I was just bored and decided to get a shot of practice with a small aperture and a storm in the make , I know it was trivial , but I am as well , live the dream !

I actually liked the storm brewing in the background and began to wonder what had happened next. To me, the mark of a good photo is when one gets me thinking (difficult for this old brain nowadays!)
