Goodness, I really can't recall. I was so infatuated with so many in rapid succession that it was hard to pin-point one. I was a bit of a butterfly even when I was very, very young.

When I was young, it was so difficult to discern love from lust. I tended to idealize certain people that I couldn't have, such as actors, singers and a few who were in my life but well out of my grasp and I thought I was in love with them.

From a very young age, I knew I was gay, but it had also been made quite clear that being gay was wrong and bad, so many feelings were compartmentalized.
