No agreement in House committee on amnesty criteria

Featured Replies

What about all the other charges? Does all the evidence for those get annulled too?

I was wondering the same. Can you give amnesty for crimes you haven't been convicted of yet? You didn't technically commit the crime until the court says you did, in my understanding. Maybe they should vote to give Dr. Thaksin a hundred get-out-of-jail cards for future convictions.

If this committee isn't a complete set up for Thaksin, why only go back to Thaksin's first conviction? Why not go back to any political conviction if the convicted is still alive. They won't because this whole farce of an 'amnesty' law is really for the benefit of one man, Dr. Thaksin, and at the expense of the criminal justice system.

If he comes back and takes over,

Think that should read when he comes back and takes over, pretty sure its a forgone conclusion to this whole farce...

And one supposes he will go on a campaign of vengance of Biblical proportions on those who have "wronged" him...possibly even against the resident nationals of the nations that "wronged" him...ie British, who were one of the first to pull his visa in the UK

The man is a megalomanic, who has lost "big" face...there will consequences i am pretty sure

Seh Daeng is proof of that I think. he kept good company.

Hopefully they'll be seeing each other again in the not-too-distant future.
