Hello,

Google translate is not too good in thai, so i thought someone could help Translate: "Non-residents should leave your room before 10pm".

This is for a policy statement.

Thanks

This means "should"

บุคคลภายนอกควรออกจากห้องก่อนสี่ทุม

This means "must"

บุคคลภายนอกต้องออกจากห้องก่อนสี่ทุม

If it's a policy it should probably be "must".

" จง " would be the word I would use for " must " in this instance. A little more formal and polite for the written form than " ต้อง ".

If it's a written policy, it's not more formal to say 22 นาฬิกา instead of สี่ทุม ( which I guess is in spoken language )?

I disagree, จง should definitely not be used in this context.

I also agree that 22 น. is more proper.

บุคคลภายนอกต้องออกจากห้องก่อน 22 น.
