I thought 65,000 monthly or 800,000 deposited was the amount for retirement.

Yep.

65,000 a month.

Or 800,000 in the bank.

Or a combination of the two.

For 12 month Extensions.

You could change to an extension based upon ,marriage that only requires 40K baht monthly income.

He says he's already had 5 years of retirement extensions, but only mentions 45,000.unsure.png

If you've been getting the extension (not visa) every year based solely on the Baht 45,000 per month pension, presumably you've actually been getting an extension based on marriage ??

Or have you been providing Immigrations with a letter from your embassy certifying the pension income and also a letter from your bank certifying a bank balance of over Baht 260,000. --- in order to come up with about Baht 800,000 total for the retirement extension?

Baht45,000 per month only, wouldn't be enough for an extension based on retirement.

Ive read 800.000 baht in the bank or 66.000 baht monthly income.

You forgot bank accounts, which are a part of the mix.

As to answer the question - the process is endless and repetitive - the same basic information that you gave them many years ago is what they want to see again.

Perhaps he has money in the bank also, ever thought of that?

Suppose you were a 10,000-post member right from the start, were you?

Apparently he's been frightened off. If he's been doing the extension of stay for 6 years (and still thinks he's getting a visa) and only mentions the Baht 45,000 monthly income, he seems to have not said anything about having money in the bank, which would be a fairly obvious add-on to mention if he's been getting a retirement extension.

does anyone know of other than normal requirements for getting my next 12 monthly retirement visa

Again an odd question, or at least odd way to put it, for someone who supposedly has been doing this for many years and only mentions the monthly income... nothing about embassy certification or bank manager's letter or which office he uses. I guess if he never returns it'll be a mystery for all time.

He may of been getting multiple entry O visas.

He may of been getting multiple entry O visas.

Doesn't sound that way Joe, quote: "Have been living here continuously for going on 6 years and have rec'd yearly retirement visas right from the start".

and adds

"does anyone know of other than normal requirements for getting my next 12 monthly retirement visa..?? Am getting 2 Pensions..1 from Australia & one from Canada..Totaling about 45,000 bht per month".

So he's simply asking if anything other than normal requirements are needed, which makes it confusing, since it sounds as if his normal requirements for previous retirement extensions are stated as 45,000 Baht.

He wrote visas not extensions. Continuously to some could include doing border runs every 90 days.

I think most people use the term visa, except on here. Even when you get the extension at CM Immigration they stamp on the renewal 'Retirement Visa'.

I have removed off-topic posts about immigration requirements of other countries.

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place

I'd be grateful if you could scan and post this extension stamp for my reference album "Current stamps of visas, extensions, etc"
