Hi, has anyone recently applied for a 1 year extension of an O type visa based on marriage for a uk national?

The embassy in london now requires 800,000 baht in savings to apply for the initial 1 years multiple entry visa. Is this amount required for the yearly extensions afterwards or is 400,000 baht enough?

It is 400K in the bank for 60 days or 40K baht income for extensions of stay based upon marriage to a Thai.

Their was a recent report of a visa done at the Birmingham consulate with no proof of income needed. Same at Savannakhet Laos.

Just had a reply to an email i sent to the thai embassy in london. They wrote must be able to prove an annual income equal to 800,000 baht or £1450 per month. To apply for a single or multiple entry visa based on marriage.
