Spiders?

Bugs yes, but spiders, no.

Really?

A friend of mine has a very large wife who eats in bed. He wakes up with paddle pop sticks stuck to his face regularly. I just thought I'd throw that in.

Some days I wake up surrounded by Kit-Kat wrappers.

In around eight hours it may be one of those days, I doubt I will see any spider parts sticking out from them though.

Seriously though, were I live, the locals do have a bit of a reputation for eating anything that moves, but not spiders, not enough of them to fill a bowl.

Chocolate orange flavour? I just had one with a coffee. Delicious.

Mine likes to eat fish eyes and "pop" them in her mouth.............bah.gif

When you say 'pop', does that mean they have already been removed or she pops them out first?

Whats her preffered 'popping' technique? My guess a sharp stick.

Yes

Well done mate! How often does she eat them? I'm imagining like instead of pop corn at the cinema. Do you ever eat them?

Insect and arachnid vending machines all over Bangkok. Brilliant idea.

Your point being what ------ exactly.

Simples. It's disgusting. Tom yum frog is my cut off point.

My wife thinks it is very disgusting to eat cheese.

But doesn't have problems with that fouling (fermented) beef and fish.

I'm ok in a Thai market until I get to that section. Still I'd choose the brown fish sludge in a barrell before a spider anyday.

My wife thinks vegemite is disgusting. I told her if you get it on a cut you can get a yeast infection :D

Tell me about cheese - I made this many months ago and the FIL and MIL both washed the filets in water to remove what they thought was god awful cheese - oh sigh

Next time I'll add critters for them and cheese from a can :)

Well at least she does'nt waste food. It must be something she's always eaten. Can't imagine starting that to late in life.
