I have got a Nvidia NVS 295 Dual Headed Graphics Card but need to buy 2 of the cables so i can use it. The cables are Display Port to DVI-D Monitors cables. I have been into about 20 computer shops in phuket but cant find them, do you know if you can buy them in thailand?

If your card has DP and monitor has DVI/HDMI then you need DP to DVI-D active dongle(s). Then you use normal DVI or DVD-HDMI cables.

*edit: If your monitors are larger than 1920x1200, you need dual link active dongle(s), you'd be better sourcing directly from China.

While we are on the subject I need display port to display port. I checked out most of the online shops and can't find one.

Thanks for your reply. In Thailand buying a few computer cables is like trying to re-invent the wheel.

The adapters are 1,190bht from jedicool plus dvi or hdmi cable. DP to DP from Dell in AUS 600bht. Guess I'll wait as going for a trip home next week although the monitor was $200 cheaper here.

1190 Bhat is a lot of money for a basic computer cable. Is there a nationwide computer company that will sell this cable for its true worth. I can get this cable for 200 Bhat back home.
