In Jomtien you need one "Residency Certificate" per license (motorbike, auto) at 250 baht each = 500 baht.

Hard to imagine any immigration office wouldn't collect money for this.

I was charged 300 for one letter this past August (Jomtien)

Did the 1 year license july 2012 cost me zero baht for the form from immigration. Just got my 5 year dl and had to get verification of my visa/extension from immigration and again not charged anything. This was in Nong Khai.

Dont forget to obtain medical certificate from most walk in clinics costs 35 baht.

Not sure why not charged but have always been treated very well from the two ladies in that office. Even got a free 60 day extension for visiting my wife from them in April. Again not sure why!
