101 students in Ang Thong admitted to hospitals for food poisoning

Ang Thong - A total of 101 students of a boarding school run by a temple in this central province were admitted to two hospitals late Saturday night for food poisoning.

Some 120 of them were rushed from Wat Sa Kaew School to the Wat Pamok district Hospital at half an hour past midnight after they suffered from vomiting and diarrhoea.

The district hospital passed on 34 of them to the provincial Ang Thong hospital because they had severe condition and the district hospital admitted 67 others. The rest were discharged.

The school said the student had diarrhoea since in the late afternoon after having lunch and mangoes.
