i have done a search but cannot see any major car rental companies operating in Surin. are there any? or where can i hire a fully roadworthy, fully insured, car from please? in surin

No major car rentals in Surin. You can try Farang Connection and Ryans Resort, maybe yes maybe no. Best advice is to rent in Bangkok and drive over.

Thus I have never been to Surin, I am sure there are sevarel Car Rental oppertunities there. Maybe not major companies, but smaller with no website.

Lived/visited Surin for the last decade. LOCAL opportunities for car hire have all been mentioned previously. I don't know of any more. There was a guy renting out his MU7 but think that's now gone down the Swanny.
