A para-sailing boy stole a Korean mans property which caused the tourist to fight back which resulted in the boy stabbing him.

PATTAYA – November 6, 2013 [PDN]; At 2.30 a.m. Pol. Lt. Warakorn Bannasit and the police team of the Center Of Protection For Children And Women, Section 2 arrived at the Health Center of Na Jomtien, behind the office of Provincial Attorney of Pattaya, Moo 1 Tambon Na Jomtien, Amphur Sattahip, Chonburi province.

The police team found that the boy who attacked the tourist but when the police moved in to apprehend him he tried to attacked the arresting officer with a pocket knife.

When he was finally arrested they found in his possession the Koreans mans bag which contained his belongings and money. Mr Shinil Yong aged 36 from Korea identified that the boy who was arrested was the attacking offender. Mr Yong was then sent to hospital for treatment.

Pol. Lt. Thananchai Wongjampa (Deputy Inspector of Na Jomtien police station) together with forces of Na Jomtien police station questioned the attacker Mr. Chakrit Boondit, aged 30, address 465 Rim Narn road, Tambon Tapharn Hin, Amphur Tapharn Hin, Pijit province, he confessed that he usual works as a Parasailing boy at Pattaya but recently business has been slow so he did not have enough money to buy milk for his 4-year-old child therefore he decided to steal belongings from tourist.

He then saw 4 Korean tourists who were walking so he parked his motorbike and walked up to them and produced a pocket knife and threatened them. He then snatched the Koreans man bag which caused the Korean to fight back causing Mr Chakrit the culprit to attack the tourist with a knife but it was all witnessed by a patrolling police officer who tried to intervene who was also attacked by the offender. After being detained and the initial investigation the police detained the offender and sent to Jomtien police station to await prosecution according to Thai law.

well instead of working on the beach specially when the business is very slow , that 30 years old "boy" can go and work in many of the fruit or sea food factories around ... they hire people .... No this guy was only finding a way to get easy money .... he got enough money to buy petrol for his bike but not enough for his kid's milk ? yeah yeah sure .....

For a second or two I considered to push the like button under your post. But then I thought maybe the TAT will do everything they can to cancel my visa for such blasphemy.

No "cue the thai apologists, and start defending,. eg. Pattaya is safer than the USA, duh, its also safer than the UK, duh, if you dont like getting stabbed go home ,duh

Sort of "first responders" of the weird sort. We'll be hearing about that Baht 500 fine nearly as often as the one about people pointing in police pictures.

Sorry the guy got stabbed by some nut job. But at least it keeps the whiners and moaners occupied. It's an unfair world we live in and bad things happen to innocent people.

And the TV Choir will be at their stations to ensure we all know:
