Standards Of Quality On The Museums, Aquariums And Amusement Parks In Thailand

I have been around to quite allot of the tourists spot here and I find them to be of lesser quality.

-Museums with big English sign boards at the gate and inside find everything explained in Thai only, hot, sticky and noisy speakers basking out messages.

-Aquariums with dead fish floating around, no lights, empty tanks with lights on, wrong fish in the tank referred to the name card and staff that has no clue to marine life.

-Amusement parks with half of the equipment signed with “on service" (does it mean it is working or not) overloaded trash bins, safety belts missing in the high velocity rides, rusty fasteners holding down the equipment, everywhere kids crying with blood covers due to bad falls and sharp edges:crying:.

And the fees are very high to be amused for low quality, does it have to be like that?

Salaries are low, buildings are fairly cheap, PR division is near not existing, running cost are surely widely covered, surely they do not spend much on maintenance; so why does it have to be so expensive to enter?

:o
