November 8, 201312 yr Could this one day evolve into a helmet for motorcyclists? As this product is, it certainly has to be better than nothing, or even the cheapest helmets available everywhere here in Thailand. http://www.travelinggreener.com/cycling/invisible-bike-helmet-from-sweden/ Be sure to click on to the Vimeo video to see how it works. November 9, 201312 yr Given that it's a roll of plastic sheeting, a cylinder of compressed gas, plus accelerometer and associated electronics, it looks like it would be awfully hot and uncomfortable when worn around the neck in warm weather. It would be interesting to see what would happen if it gets turned around a bit on your neck before it goes off.
