My 3 year old MBAir charging port (the magnetic one) seems to be bad.

At first it required a little jiggling to connect, but now I cannot get it to charge at all.

I don't know if something is worn, dirty or what.

Can anyone recommend a fix or a repair shop in Pattaya.

The Apple store at TukCom does not repair, only sells new.

Is it possible to charge through the USB port?

The tiny little pins inside should all be sprung. If one of the springs on one of the connectors has failed that could be the reason for the failure... something check anyway.

I was told by the salesman when I bought the unit that there are no replaceable components,
