I don't know about gerbils, but I do know that guinea pigs are present aplenty, at least in Bangkok. Are you sure they would survive the trip, though?

I'm not sure, and i don't want to them die on the trip, sure.. :o Maybe i just have to give them away..

you have 2 questions, 1 concerning the survival during the journey and 2 if the climate in Thailand is Gerbil friendly.

The first question can be answered by yor local vet and a lot of airliners are very specialised in transporting animals (The Dutch Royal Airlines KLM for example). Try these two options. When you are able to get them in the cabine lugage you can observe them yourselve and your local vet can recommend you for sure any tranquilizer like they prescribe for animals in these circumstances!

gerbils take dry heat since they are desert animals; the flight on cabin , well, dont know because of the pressure changes, but no tranquilizers .... they are small rodent types.... just find them a good home and get new ones....
