My camera broke so I want to send myself my old camera, well get a relative to send it to me here.
How do I go about doing this without incurring a huge bill in customs and extra since its my camera already?

Just dont use a courier and it should be fine, Royal Mail standard Airmail should be fine, pay the extra for tracking etc if you are concerned about loss, but thats a personal decision.

Get whoever to put a note inside stating "heres your camera you wanted sent over" just in case.

Worked for me at any rate.

Better buy a new one it seems...

Best advice ever given except for engaging lawyers here.

Never ever ever use a courier, they are in with customs ,after they tried to rip me off , i told them to eat my marmite ,hope they enjoyed it bah.gif

I use these http://www.parcelmonkey.co.uk they do door 2 door .They are a booking agent and I have found then to be cheaper than booking direct with one of the big couriers online I have saved on average 10 to 15 % and sometimes more
